畑はジュヴレシャンベルタン村と隣接するブロション（Brochon）村に位置するので素晴らしい区画。でも残念ながら1級には認定されません。広さは約0.24ha、石がたくさん散らばる粘土石灰質で、比較的標高が高く冷涼な気候なので収穫は常に1番最後になります。樹齢は50〜60年の古木でタンニン豊かなパワフルな味わいの中に真っ直ぐな酸があり、とてもミネラル分の多いワインです。

￥13,200 （税込）COMMENT赤いサクランボや潰したイチゴの香り、酸味のあるフランボワーズのアロマも感じられ、グラスの中でバラの花びらのアロマが広がる。甘くジャミーな口当たり、渋味は柔らかく素晴らしい深みがある。エレガントだがもう少し熟成させればもっと良くなるだろう。

The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Village is very promising, mingling notes of cherries and berries with sweet soil tones and hints of rose petals and spices in an incipiently complex bouquet. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, fine-boned and elegant, with fine depth at the core, ripe and refined tannins and a penetrating finish. -

Revisited from bottle, the 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Village bursts with aromas of plums and sweet berry fruit, complemented by notions of loamy soil, espresso roast and smoked meats. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, lively and succulent, with melting tannins framing its fleshy core of fruit. -

The 2016 Volnay 1er Cru Fremiets is also showing very well, wafting from the glass with a lovely bouquet of dark berries, raw cocoa, orange rind, forest floor and dried flowers. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, having come together beautifully since I tasted it from barrel, framed by juicy acids and fine, stony tannins. It's a superb wine that confirms the serious stature of this vintage chez d'Angerville.
