From 30-year-old vines on shell limestone soils and fermented in concrete eggs, the 2015 Sonnenglanz Gewurztraminer is a fine and elegant dry fermented to medium-sweet. Bottled in September 2016, this wine has a very clear, intense and fresh bouquet with smoky aromas and fresh lemon flavors. Round, dense and tightly woven, this is a mouth-filling Gewurz with a lovely juiciness and concentration. Fine tannins and a stimulating salinity make this another gorgeous Gewurz.

ストラスブルグの南に位置するコルマールの町から北へ10kmほど行ったところにある特級区画「SPOREN(スポーレン)」。
泥灰粘土質の土が深い畑なので根が地中深くまで伸びて様々な要素を吸収し、早熟な区画なので糖度が上がりやすく、エキゾチックでフローラルなアロマが豊かな甘味の強いエネルギッシュなワインです。

In warm and dry vintages, such as 2015, the Sporen, with its deep, rich Lias clay-marl soils, can deliver unique Gewurztraminer. Trapet's 2015 Sporen Gewurztraminer opens with a super clear, deep, mineral and elegant bouquet. Full-bodied, cool, well-structured and salty-piquant on the palate, this is a highly elegant, complex and very promising Sporen with lovely, earthy terroir flavors. This 2015 needs a couple of years to unfold all its great talents. Fermented in concrete eggs.

The 2016 Arbois Chardonnay aged in a combination of foudre and barrique, produced in a floral and fresh style, ouillé, with no oxidation, in a more Burgundian style, clean and precise with a very tasty palate with focused flavors, where the oak is a little more noticeable. This is a blend of different terroirs of Chardonnay. They are going to start with other bottlings where they'll want to show the different soils. It was bottled in the summer of 2017.
「ARBOIS GRAND CUROULET SAVAGNIN OUILLE」同様、ドメーヌ設立の2012年に購入した畑で、アルボワで1番最初に葡萄が植えられた畑、そして1番良い畑のひとつと言われています。購入した際には60年以上の古木が植えられていましたが、すでにあまり良い葡萄が取れない状況だったため、ほとんどの葡萄の木を1度引き抜いてから畑を整備し、2015年に5haの畑にサヴァニャン種を2/3、シャルドネ種を1/3植樹しました。シャルドネはこの区画の中でも標高が高い場所に植えられており、ヴォルネーの1級区画「Clos des Ducs(クロ デ デュック)」に似ている泥灰質土壌がワインに緊張感を与えています。醗酵は350Lや500Lの樫樽や20~60hlの大樽で行い、500Lの古樽で熟成させています。洗練されたエレガントな香り、ミネラル豊かで余韻も長く、混醸のシャルドネよりも辛口で直線的な味わいになっています。

The 2018 Arbois Trois Cépages is a red blend of the three varieties from Jura, with 60% Pinot Noir, 35% Trousseau and 5% Poulsard. Despite the low alcohol (12.5%), it has a ripe nose, with notes of cherries and orange peel, and a light palate.
The range of Domaine du Pelican keeps growing. It's the Jura project from Burgundy's Marquis d'Angerville.
