The 2021 Moulin-à-Vent originates from eight different vineyards: Rochegrès, Carquelin, Champ de Cour, Thorins, Les Vérillats, La Roche, La Rochelle and Les Caves. It's a lush expression of the vintage, with a fruit-driven core of juicy red and black currants, cherries and red plums with top notes of lilac petals, dried sage, sweet spices and white pepper. On the medium-bodied palate, the tannins are finely woven, lending gentle support to the succulent, impressively concentrated flavors, making for a seamless, supple mouthfeel with a tangy finish. It's one of the most accessible wines from the estate's 2021 lineup.

The 2018 Morgon Côte du Py is showing very well, mingling aromas of black cherries and cassis with subtle hints of grilled meats and exotic spices. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered, it's deep and nicely concentrated, with lively acids and powdery structuring tannins. It's a step up in depth and incipient complexity over the estate's regular Morgon.

The 2019 Morgon unwinds in the glass with notes of sweet berry fruit, plums, spices and loamy soil. Medium to full-bodied, ample and enveloping, with lively acids and supple, powdery tannins, it's especially seamless and charming this year. Derived largely from Corcelette but including some Côte du Py fruit, it was matured half in concrete, half in used barrels.

The 2019 Moulin-a-Vent Clos du Grand Carquelin has turned out especially
well this year, wafting from the glass with notes of dark berry fruit,
cherry preserve, warm spices and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied,
supple and enveloping, with melting tannins and an ample core of
succulent fruit, it's seamless and sensual, deriving from parcels
located near Champ de Cour this year.

The 2015 Morgon Cote du Py is a deep, brooding wine, unfurling in the glass with notes of spicy dark fruits, baking chocolate and rich soil tones. On the palate, it's full-bodied, super concentrated and powerful, with lovely acids, fine-grained tannins and a rich but vibrant finish.While it's atypically imposing and large-scaled, it's a very persuasiverendition of the balmy, dry 2015 vintage, and it looks likely tohandsomely repay cellaring.
