The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Aux Combottes has turned out especially well this year, exhibiting aromas of sweet red berries, exotic spices, rose petals and blood orange. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, its enveloping core of fruit is framed by powdery structuring tannins.

The 2018 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru was also showing very well, offering up an expressive bouquet of ripe cherries, cassis, warm spices and rich soil tones. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, supple and textural, with a broad attack, good depth and energy at the core, powdery structuring tannins and a sapid finish.

well, soaring from the glass with a lovely bouquet of cassis, dark berry
preserve, baking chocolate and peonies. On the palate, the wine is
medium to full-bodied, supple and enveloping, with lively acids and a
long, aromatic finish.
