The 2020 Chablis 1er Cru Montmains was still in tank and consequently the most reserved of Tribut's wines, unwinding in the glass with notes of white flowers, green apple and nutmeg, framed by light reduction. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, with a bright spine of acidity and a saline finish, it shows considerable promise at this early stage.

The 2020 Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy bursts from the glass with aromas of apricot, peach and citrus mingled with fresh bread, toasted almonds and oyster shell. Medium to full-bodied, ample but precise, with tangy acids and a saline finish, it's another lovely wine from the Tribut family.

The 2018 Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy is performing well in bottle, exhibiting aromas of sweet orchard fruit, white flowers, fresh bread and iodine. Medium to full-bodied, ample and open-knit, it's lively and precise, concluding with a mineral finish.

Revisited from bottle, the 2017 Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy is excellent, wafting from the glass with aromas of citrus oil, mandarin, almond paste and smoke. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with excellent concentration, bright acids and a long, saline finish. This is a classic from Tribut that's well worth seeking out.
