The 2017 Santenay 1er Cru Clos des Mouches Rouge bursts from the glass with scents of rose petal, minty red berries and warm spices. On the palate, it's edium to full-bodied, broad and satiny, with a beautifully layered mid-palate, lovely purity of fruit and a long, succulent finish. This gets my nod as the finest of Moreau's reds in 2017.
