ソーテルヌの2級格付けシャトー。ソーテルヌの町の西側にあり、シロン川を見下ろすこのアペラシオンで最も高い場所に畑を所有する。
白い花やローストしたリンゴ、黄桃、ハチミツ、スパイスの濃密な香り。味わいには凝縮した甘み、ストラクチャー、複雑さを備え、クリュ・クラッセたる品格に満ちている。

Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting. The 2012 Château Lamothe-Guignard has a slightly nutty, almost Aszu-like bouquet that opens nicely in the glass. The palate is rounded on the entry, viscous in texture, but it clearly lacks complexity and it feels disjointed on the truncated finish. The estate has made better wines in recent years.
