●ALC/クロージャー：13.5% / コルク
●品種：ピノ・ノワール 100%
●マセドン・レーンジズ内、ロムジーに位置する畑（標高500m、1998 年植樹・赤みがかった火山性・玄武岩土壌）。涼しい朝に手摘み・選果され全房のまま開放タンクで自然醗酵。約 3 週間のマセレーション後、オーク樽へとプレスされ（Laurent 社のMagic Cask 含む。一部新樽）12 ヶ月熟成。さらに 4 カ月ステンレスタンクで熟成させ、僅かな亜硫酸と共にボトリング。ノンフィルター、清澄剤不使用。

There is energy and vitality in these Cooper Pinots. They're hopping with it. This 2021 Doug's Vineyard Pinot Noir is earthy and dusty (coal dust) and black, with a core of juicy, supple, exotic, almost sleek fruit wedged into the folds of tannin in the mouth. It's evocative and bloody, with an undertow of savory leaf (saltbush and tobacco) beneath it all. The flow and life here is a breath of fresh and eloquent air.
