The team at Ferraton makes two Cote Roties, both of which are brilliant examples of the quality now coming from this estate. The slightly larger production cuvee is the 2015 Cote Rotie l’Eglantine, which comes from schist soils and is aged in older barrels. It offers a perfumed, Asian spice, dried flower, graphite, and red and black fruit-driven bouquet, as well as full-bodied richness and ultra-fine tannin.
