小さな箱で収穫し、選果した後、グルナッシュとシラーは全房、それ以外の品種は除梗し、醸造。タンクと樽で18ヶ月熟成させます。
太陽の光をしっかり浴びたブドウから造られたことを感じさせる力強い骨格があるが、まろやかでシルキーな口当たりで、最後にフレッシュな余韻が残ります。

The 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes includes small amounts of Clairette and Grenache Blanc, plus six red grape varieties. It's peppery and anise-laden, with intriguing spice notes layered over ripe black cherries and stone fruit. Full-bodied and creamy in texture, it finishes with exotic notes of Asian five spice and star anise. It should drink well for at least a decade.
