The 2014 Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru les Vignerondes (Hospices de Nuits) has a similar nose to the counterpart from Anne Gros (that I tasted the same afternoon incidentally), with delicate red berry fruit with a touch of orange blossom. The palate is medium-bodied with supple red berry fruit and a touch of spice; it is understated and quite elegant towards the finish. This is very fine.
